We purchased these with the previous reviews in mind. Our sinks are extra deep, so no splash problem. Stylish and easy to use and install. Danze customer service responded beautifully to our questions. One problem though, every single box we received from Amazon had the factory seal broken in the first shipment (we purchased three.)

I *love* this faucet, all the other reviews are accurate (even the low ratings). The flow and control is smooth, it pivots at the base and top so the very base is fixed but the valve handle pivots independently from the faucet head. This allows the control away from under the head so you don't get wet yet can be under it if you want since usually the head is directed left or right towards a bowl and not in the center anyway. This allows for more flexibility of mounting things to the side if desired (filtered water, soap, etc).
The only negative I saw written about this is that it is so tall it splashes water which I can see could happen. It did not in my case as I have well water which often is lower pressure than city water, but I do have a 10" deep sink so the head is 23.5" above the bottom of the sink which of course could splash if the pressure is high enough. This would be more physics and not related to this specific faucet but any tall faucet. Another workaround for this would be to fill the water so the stream goes not to the center but on the rounded edge of the sink until the bottom of the sink was covered with water and then move the stream to the center if desired as then the existing water in the bottom wouldn't "splash" the water back up. As mentioned I was fine but I can see where it would be undesirable to have ANY faucet this tall.
The finish is great, the soap dispensers are great (smooth, the right amount without excess pumping, etc).

We like this faucet well enough... It's a great quality piece, but we can't help but wondering if we could have found another for a little less. I suppose if you are looking for a single-handle, single hole faucet, you're probably going to be paying over $150 for a decent one anyway.

It was easy to install; at first I wasn't sure if I was getting it tight enough, but it turned out fine. Love the control lever! It is very easy to operate, and it looks cool too (especially on our new solid surface countertops!)

The only thing that kept me from giving this five stars was this: to echo another reviewer, the spray function has relatively low pressure, especially after being used to the 'typical' separate sprayer that most faucets have. Also, although we like the spring loaded pull-out spout, if you pull it out past five or six inches it feels like you're at the gym trying to do lat pulls or something.

There's my three cents, keep the change...

As the other reviewer commented, this faucet can and will make a watery mess of your sink area. Because it's so high, even using the sprayer is clumsy. Other than that, it really does look nice and has a cutting edge appearance, but functionally, I really don't care for it at all.
